i’ve been working with them for ages now, but there was something totally different about this last meeting. whereas our other sessions have been focused on their beautiful cady, the spotlight shifted a bit to the newest member-to-be of their wonderful family.
our paths have crossed in so many ways over the past couple of years – at church, birthday parties, school meetings, small group, and through our adoptions several months ago. but most recently, i had the joy of spending the afternoon with my friends, the fannings, in a new capacity…as a photographer.
we were just a few minutes into shooting when she threw her head back with this uncomfortable sort of awkward giggle.
i chuckled with her and asked, what’s going on, rachel?
