i remember thinking the first time i met her, wow – she’s a serious beauty. it was two years ago and she was working at pearl ministries where my husband had recently gone on staff. but the best part is that it didn’t take long at all for me to realize that her outward beauty was only magnified by her sweet and loving heart.
ashleigh wrote me a couple of months ago with the news that she and nathan were engaged. i don’t even want to look for anyone else…i want you to do my wedding! between elation over their engagement and tenderness about her trust in me to shoot such a precious day, i was a big ball of emotion. actually, “giddy to work with them” might best explain it.
ashleigh and nathan are one of those couples that really embrace living. you can hardly talk with them for five minutes without catching glimpses of everything that they love doing together. there was his mid-tennis-match proposal…
and their countless days together at his family’s lake house…
but i have to say, i think my favorite are their regular skyped games of backgammon while nathan was in russia on business.
ashleigh and nathan, you’re simply a joy to be with, and i’m thrilled to be sharing in your wedding day. congratulations, my friends!!
