what do you think about having a hot air balloon for our engagement session? i could barely type as fast as my brain was spitting out the yeses in reply to her email. i loved the concept of something that would add so much vibrancy, color, and larger-than-life perspective to our session.

little did i know that the hot air balloon would be the perfect physical representation of the two amazing personalities i would soon be thrilled to work with. rachel and david, it’s absolutely impossible to meet and not love you as you are every bit as vibrant, colorful, and larger-than-life as the balloon you rode away in. thank you for such a fun evening and for what promises to be a fabulous wedding to come!

*a special shout-out to southern balloon journeys for providing the balloon for our session and for being so incredibly accommodating to my every crazy whim.*

**is it ridiculous that i’m stressed over the fact that i know a bevy of fellow homeschoolers will see this post and recognize that i don’t use capital letters and i end my sentences with prepositions??** 😉
