i came home that night and immediately started recounting the best parts of the day to my husband. her bridesmaids were incredibly precious… and his groomsmen? so awesome! then oh my goodness, when her daddy saw her for the first time… their wedding day was a delightful string of one perfect moment after another, and i thought it best to showcase it as such. so without further adieu, these are some of the highlights of morgan and blayne’s wedding this weekend at the gorgeous reserve at oak bowery

a moment of quiet amidst the chaos…
curling irons and makeup brushes were flying, but in the middle of the hustle and bustle, morgan stole away for a few minutes to read the letter her groom had lovingly penned. the smiles and tears flew freely.

a moment of chaos amidst the quiet…
it’s one of my favorite perks in having a second-shooter along…the camera really can be in two places at once.

daddy’s little girl…
after watching this tender moment unfold, i now know how we’ll be doing it when the time comes at our house. in these photos, morgan’s dad wasn’t just seeing her in her wedding gown for the first time that day, this was the first time he had EVER seen the gown…or the gown on her. it was precious beyond words.

passing of the torch
after spending a few teary minutes with her daddy, morgan prepared to join her life with that of a different man when she met privately with blayne for an emotional time prior to their ceremony.

a girl’s best friend
i. love. these. sweet. girls. they spent the whole day laughing with morgan, crying with her, and joyfully celebrating the sanctity of what was to come later as blayne and morgan would become husband and wife.

boys will be boys…
not to be outdone, the gentleman were every bit as fabulous and endearing as the ladies were. i love a group with loads of personality!

a cord of three strands…
morgan, her best friends, mother, and mother-in-law all committing the marriage to god…no more words are needed.

the reason we’re all here today…
they wrote their own vows…some of the most meaningful and beautiful i’ve ever heard. they walked down the aisle as two separate people and walked back up as one.

let the celebration begin…
after seeing these photos, my husband has crowned blayne and morgan the king and queen of incredible smiles. they’re the best!

full circle…
the best moments of the day began with a quiet moment of peace and ended with one equally as beautiful and intimate. swoon.

morgan and blayne, as i said in your engagement post several months ago, you feel like old friends to me now and i’m so honored to have spent the day celebrating your marriage. much love to you!

**a special thanks to blair davis for pulling second-shooter duty for a long day away. she’s the one who made it possible to be two places at once.** :-)

What beautiful, meaningful photos, they seem to capture such different emotions. I cried when I saw daddy cry while holding his baby girl. What a wave of emotions when he realized that he is really giving her to another man.

    Thank you,
    Lynn (a wedding guest)
