months earlier, i had marked it on my calendar as an OFF day. i knew i’d be out late the night before shooting the wedding festivities for brittani and nick so the plan was to take the day off to rest and relax.
but then she wrote me.
i know it may sound crazy but mallory’s sweet spirit spilled out of her words on my computer screen and after a few messages back and forth i was hooked and the date was booked. i now know that was the perfect decision because i couldn’t be more in love with this precious couple. mallory and chad started their afternoon with a private first look, the pictures from which sum up everything i love about couples choosing to begin their wedding day together.
not only does the first look lend itself to some of the sweetest photos of the day, but it also gives us lots of time to focus on killerness like this (see, i’m so smitten with them that i’m even making up words like killerness)…
i could have spent the entire day with mallory and chad by themselves but the day was made even more fun when their awesome wedding party joined them for photos.
the whole group soon gathered in the gorgeous sanctuary of first presbyterian church of tuscaloosa as mallory and chad became mr. and mrs. clark.
since we’d taken all of the family and wedding party photos prior to the ceremony, we were able to go immediately from the church to the north river yacht club for the reception.
but before i share about that awesome celebration, i’d like to introduce you to what i very affectionately refer to as the mallory. this, if nothing else, should explain what made my job so easy that day…
she absolutely radiates joy, and judging by the looks of these photos of their families and friends, her laugh is contagious.
mallory and chad, thank you so very much for allowing me to be a part of your amazing wedding day. i had the best time and couldn’t be more happy that i punted on my off day. 😉
**and anna, i owe you a huge thank you for packing up from montgomery and traipsing all over the place with me for the weekend of weddings. i don’t know what i’d do without you (and paul who holds down the fort at home)!!**
