it was one of the most unique and fun photographer interviews i’ve ever had. sitting across from me at the coffee shop were four people – two grooms and their respective brides who just happened to be sisters. they were getting married just a few weeks apart from one another and were all looking for a photographer to document their special days. after wonderful conversation that seemed to run the gamut of topics, it was official…i had four new friends and i was going to be honored with the opportunity to shoot both of their weddings.
kelly and dennis were married in a beautiful ceremony at the sonnet house in april while celena and brian chose historic rosewood for their wedding day in may. celena’s morning began with a team of family, friends, and professionals who made sure that every detail was perfected…
and before i knew it, celena had become a bride (and a fiercely gorgeous one at that!)
but no bride is complete without her girls by her side, and although i didn’t know it was possible, i fell more in love with this group the second time around.
they were delightful as always, but they might have had some competition for the creative and crazy award…
i really do love every bit of shooting a wedding but without question my very favorite part is the first look. i don’t think the emotion in these photos needs a word of explanation…
top those moments off with a gorgeous ceremony, and the day is simply perfect.
thank you to the team at rosewood for pulling together a beautiful day. every detail was perfectly exquisite (chandeliers hanging from every tree? yes, please!)
celena and brian, i know i’ve already gushed to you about how much i adore you, but seriously, thank you so very much for allowing me to take part in your perfect wedding day. it was a joy and a delight.
