it’s one of the greatest compliments a wedding photographer could possibly receive – an enthusiastic referral from a former bride. amberly and derek found me thanks to amy and hunter whose family shared with them that the process of their wedding day photography was completely low-key, fun, and relaxed. i was so thankful and thrilled because if there’s one thing i continually share with couples, it’s that i want their wedding day to be full of joy and laughter.

another aspect we chat about a lot is whose day this really is. yes, i have a job to do, and i take that job very seriously – but that doesn’t mean the day itself has to be serious or stressful in any way. when couples ask me to shoot their engagement or wedding photographs, they’re inviting me into a precious and intimate day in their lives, and it’s my highest goal to ensure that their love continually remains the focus.

when i sat down with amberly and derek for our first meeting a few weeks ago, they laughed and told me that i’d really have to work with them to get good pictures. i said, no worries! it’s my job to make you look fantastic on camera. ummmm, come to find out, they needed no help.

amberly and derek, i’m even more excited about your march 2012 wedding now than i was before. you’re a beautiful couple who makes my job incredibly easy, and i can’t wait to get you in front of the camera again on your wedding day. congratulations!!!
